Kick off ceremony : NABC 2012
NABC
2012 is being organized by CAB along with other partner
organizations from various parts of North America. The
Kolkata Kick off ceremony was held in Palledium
Hall, Bengal Chamber of Commerce on the evening
of 18th January. 2012. Chief guest of the function was
Sri Mukul Roy, Union State Minister, Govt. of
India. The kick off ceremony was organized by
CAB & Overseas CAB-NABC Council, Kolkata. Among
the guests of honor, were Sri Rachpal Singh, Minister
in Charge Tourism, Government of West Bengal, Mr. Clinton
S Brown , Political & Economic Affairs Officer,
US Consulate Kolkata, Sri Dwijen Mukhopadhyay,
veteran vocalist and many other from India and North
America. A good number of NRIs from USA and Canada,
Sponsors, Exhibitors made their presence though interactive
session. The welcome speech was delivered by Sri
Rajat Mazumdar, Retd. IPS, the President of Overseas
CAB-NABC Council, Kolkata

Both
the ministers made express of interest for investment
in Bengal and promoting tourism in the state. Sri Sumit Mukherjee,
the veteran industrialist spoke on the prospective business
forum in Las Vegas on 6-8 July, 2012. Sri Kajal Sarkar, President
CAB, Sri Purna Bhattacharya, Vice President CAB narrated the
NABC 2012 program details, opportunities, accommodation, transportation
and assured hospitality to all the participants of NABC 2012.
They , along with other members of CAB, interacted with
the prospective participants of NABC 2012. Mr. Brown delivered
his speech in Bengali and wished NABC2012 a success and assured
all possible assistance. The program ended with Vote of Thanks
