West Coast Kick Off Meeting for NABC 2012
Cultura Asociation Of Bengal (CAB) had two really exciting kick off meetings at Hemet, California and Las Vegas, Nevada respectively. The first meeting was held at the residence of Kali P. Chaudhuri at Hemet, CA. Representatives from various organizations had showed up and topics were discussed which included hosting of NABC 2012 at Las Vegas, Nevada as well as formation of a community center at Los Angeles which was to be aptly named as "Ekusher Ghor". |

The second of the west coast kick off meetings was held at the grand ballroom of Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was revealed that the 32nd North America Bengali Conference (NABC 2012) will be held on July 6th/7th/8th 2012 at Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, organized by Cultural Association Of Bengal (CAB), locally hosted by Bengali Association Of Nevada in partnership with Dakshini of Los Angeles, Saikat of San Diego, BCAA of Arizona, BASC of Los Angeles, Tagore Society of Houston, Prabashi of San Francisco, Prabasi of Toronto, Kallol of New Jersey and many other organizations which also included organizations from Bangladesh. |

The kick off meeting was chaired by the president of Cultural Association of Bengal (CAB) Mr. Kajal Sarkar.
The objective of the kick off meeting was to give participants a clear picture about future direction that NABC is heading towards, to form a consensus and working arrangement among the participating organizations towards a common goal to make NABC 2012 a grand success, to brainstorm ideas for generating additional revenue streams, to ramp up and accelerate the work related to NABC 2012.
The agenda for the kick off meeting included attendee introduction, NABC's new perspective, partner organization's benefits and responsibility towards hosting NABC 2012, organizational structures, views from partner organizations and at the end included open Q&A from the floor.
A tour of the facilities was also conducted by the CAB team along with members from the partner organizations to gain an in depth understanding of the layout which will eventually help in planning and implementation phase. |

The kick off meeting ended with a buffet dinner at Tamba Restaurant where CAB committee members along with participants of the partner organizations mixed and mingled on an informal basis to unwind after a hectic day of meetings and discussions. |
